A Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority police officer is facing two charges for allegedly soliciting sex from a minor online. The online minor was actually a detective from the FCPD Child Exploitation Unit.
Police say Dustin Moore, 27, of Fredericksburg, first initiated contact with a FCPD detective early last month. During the investigation police say they learned Moore was employed with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) as a police officer.
Moore was arrested January 30 and is facing two counts of using a communication system to facilitate certain offenses involving children. If anyone has additional information or believe they know of potentially inappropriate communication with Moore, detectives ask that they contact the FCPD Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800.
