KSR Pet Care now provides group dog training classes.

Since its doors opened in 2008, KSR Pet Care has provided the McLean and Falls Church areas with all-inclusive pet care. KSR offers dog-walking, pet-sitting services, overnight boarding, a pet taxi, as well as house and plant care.

Last year, KSR implemented their Dog Training School, where they conduct private lessons with pups in the clients’ homes. Now, after a successful “Ask the Dog Trainer Workshop,” KSR has decided to add group classes to its obedience school curriculum.

“Our philosophy comes from the understanding that nobody is perfect, including our dog(s),” said owner of KSR Pet Care Karen Rosenberg. “We sometimes see all the bad things and overlook what is going right. Hearing it from a professional with a tweak here or there and seeing the wood for the trees is sometimes all it takes to feel good again as family companions. And therefore, it sometimes just takes one professional session to get you and your dog(s) on track to success again.”

KSR’s group training sessions are held every Saturday (excluding holidays) at 10:30 a.m. at Tysons Corner Animal Hospital at 8496 E Tyco Rd., Vienna, Va. 22182. Sessions are kept at a maximum of five dogs; dogs of all ages are welcome. Owners must sign their furry friend up for a minimum of three classes at $29 per class.

“It’s not about creating the stereotypical ‘perfect’ dog, but the perfect dog for you and your family,” said Rosenberg. “Our trainers will help you find harmony and work with you and your dog(s) toward the… companion you were hoping for. The road leading to that goal is as important as the result.”
