The Leagues of Women Voters of Arlington, the Fairfax Area, Falls Church, Loudoun, and the Prince William Area Member-At-Large Unit — a strictly nonpartisan political membership organization — cooperated to produce this Voters’ Guide to assist citizens in their decision making process as they prepare to vote.
Questionnaires were sent to all candidates who qualified to appear on the November 6, 2012 ballot. The LWV of Virginia sent questionnaires to the candidates for the U.S. Senate. The above-referenced Northern Virginia Leagues sent questionnaires to candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives representing our region.
Biographies and responses to the questions appear verbatim as written by the candidates and are not edited except to comply with Voters’ Guide style and stipulated word and space limitations. A “//” at the end of their text indicates the word limit was exceeded. The candidates’ original responses are on file with the Virginia and/or Northern Virginia Leagues respectively.
