The opening reception of the current exhibition at the Greater Reston Arts Center (GRACE), “Overlooked,” included a conversation between five of the exhibition’s nine artists. From left, they were: Brazilian-born multi-media artist Lorenzo Cardim; visual and conceptual artist Julie Wolfe; Matt Storm, a photo-based artist who creates photographs, performances, installations and sculptures; Adriana Monsalve, cofounder with Caterina Ragg of Homie House Press, which is a “skeleton bones crew of femmes creating and publishing in the photo book medium;” and Helina Metaferia, an interdisciplinary artist working in performance, video, installation, and collage. In the background is Lily Siegel, GRACE’s executive director and curator
