Free Photo Workshop in Fairfax

Fairfax County Portrait Photographer B. Christopher Offers A Free Portrait Photography Workshop To Fairfax County Residents, Oct. 24 and Nov. 14, at the Fairfax City Regional Library in Old Town Fairfax. (3:30pm-5:30pm, both dates.)
The topics that B. Christopher will cover are:
•Finding beautiful existing light for indoor and outdoor portraiture
•Using flash more effectively in low-light environments
•Proper posing the subject or group
•Effective portrait composition techniques
Along with a presentation of topics covered, B. Christopher will hold a hands-on portrait session to demonstrate tips and tricks to successful portraiture. All participants are encouraged to come with a friend, or children, and a camera. Participants with cameras will apply techniques covered in the workshop, in a mini portrait session with the guidance of B. Christopher. The workshop will close with a critique of images taken during the session, by the participants.
