Mason plays key role in online history project

The National History Education Clearinghouse, an online project that brings U.S. history teachers high-quality support and resources, was recently launched by George Mason University's Center for History and New Media (CHNM) and project partner Stanford University.

The clearinghouse is now available to the public at http://teachinghistory.org .

Funded by $7 million from the U.S. Department of Education, The online project focuses on historical thinking and learning and is designed to help K-12 U.S. history teachers become more effective educators.
