Smoke-free dining guide for Springfield, Burke

The Northern Virginia Alliance on Smoking or Health has released “Your Springfield and Burke Guide to Smoke-Free Dining.”

Published with grant funds from the Virginia Department of Health's Tobacco Use Control Project, the guide lists multiple restaurants in the area and outlines the benefits of establishments where smoking is prohibited:

  • The health risks from secondhand smoke are eliminated.

  • Food tastes and smells better.

  • Patrons do not smell like smoke after leaving a restaurant.

For a copy of the free guide, go to the South Run RECenter, 7550 Reservation Drive, Springfield, or call Fairfax County Community and Recreation Services at 703-324-5213 to receive a copy by mail.
