The fifth annual polka party at Old Town Hall in Fairfax City last week gave attendees an opportunity for an evening of fun, laughter and dance in true German style.

The concert on Friday, April 25, presented by the Alte Kameraden band, one of the many smaller ensembles from the City of Fairfax Band, was part of the 23rd annual Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival, which runs through May 6.

Sponsored by the City of Fairfax in cooperation with George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College, the festival presents leading musicians, dancers and other performers from the area, quality arts exhibitions, theater performances and community activities.
