Man found dead, another injured in Falls Church stabbing

Fairfax County Police released the identity of the deceased victim of a weekend stabbing in Falls Church.

Harbi Adam, 18, of 3533 Ellery Circle, and an unidentified adult male, also stabbed, were found by police responding to a report of a fight between two groups on Sunday, April 27, in the 3700 block of Powell Lane in the Falls Church area.

Police said both men were transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Adam, a senior at J.E.B. Stuart High School, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other man survived.

According to investigators, there is no suspect information at this time. This is the seventh homicide in Fairfax County this year.
