Trio of 'all stars' powers Vienna

Thanks to three players with double-digit scoring totals, the Vienna Youth Inc. U-13 boys basketball team recently knocked off Arlington, 54-46, in the Division 2 championship of the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League.
Forward Chrystian Brown (16 points, 11 rebounds), center Jason Mann (14,13) and point guard Kent Blackstone (12 points) spearheaded the win, which bumped Vienna's final record to 15-2. Brown, who also dished out three assists, was named the MVP of the game.
Coach Dean Marsden's squad entered the halftime break with a 23-20 advantage, and his players were able to maintain their lead courtesy of some clutch foul shots down the stretch by Blackstone, Mann and guard Matt O'Donnell.
"It was a great season; the whole team was a collection of all stars," said Marsden, who won his first title in 13 years of coaching Vienna. "I truly enjoyed coaching them and I'm very proud of their accomplishments."
Rounding out Marsden's squad was Andy Rehberger (8 points), John Adam, Mitchell Carroll, Cesare Gelsi, Mark Gunst, William Neville and Christian Prince.
