Bank Robber Arrested after Pursuit in Great Falls
A Maryland man robbed the BB&T Bank at 9915 Georgetown Pike March 11.
Witnesses provided a description of the individual and his vehicle to officers responding to the bank, according to police.
After a chase, officers apprehended Charles Terrence Hoye, 55, of Bethesda near the intersections of Leesburg Pike and Downey Drive.
He was arrested and charged with robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, speed to elude, larceny and two counts of possession of narcotics, police say. No one was injured.
