Still Reeling
'Baby Mama' (PG-13)
Starring: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler
Fey, whose "30 Rock" is the currently the funniest comedy on TV, stars with her former "SNL" colleague, in this laugh-fest about surrogate motherhood. Break out the cigars -- this one looks like it will be an instant hit! Opens Friday.
'Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay' (R)
Starring: John Cho, Kal Penn
When caught smuggling a bong on an international flight, the "Cheech & Chong" for today's generation are suspected of being terrorists and try to outrun the authorities. Yes, Neil Patrick Harris is back. Opens Friday.
'88 Minutes' (R)
Starring: Al Pacino, Alicia Witt
Pacino stars as a forensics expert who receives a phone call informing him he has 88 minutes left to live. As he scrambles to find out who his eventual killer will be, he also must clear his name for the murder of an ex-girlfriend. That's a busy hour and a half!
'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' (R)
Starring: Jason Segel, Kristin Bell
A loser goes on vacation to forget his ex-girlfriend when, who should turn up in the same vacation resort? You guessed it. Hilarity presumably ensues in this film produced by the raunchy comedy factory that brought us "Knocked Up" and "Superbad."
'Street Kings' (R)
Starring: Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker
Reeves stars as a grieving LAPD cop who is framed for the death of a fellow officer. He must clear his name or forever bear the stain of scandal. Also starring Hugh Laurie, still perfecting his American accent; Chris Evans; and Cedric the Entertainer. Directed by David Ayer ("Harsh Times").
'Prom Night' (R)

The original 1980 slasher flick starred Jamie Lee Curtis as a girl tormented by a killer on the night of her prom. Snow replaces Curtis as another round of teens are terrorized.
'Nim's Island' (PG)
Starring: Jodie Foster, Abigail Breslin
A young girl (Breslin, of "Little Miss Sunshine”) and her father live an isolated, yet idyllic, life on a remote island. Into their lives comes a reclusive author played by Foster. Adventurous mayhem ensues.

Starring: Jena Malone, Jonathan Tucker
A group of friends on vacation stumble into an archaeological ruin that harbors something evil, very evil. Based on the bestseller by Scott B. Smith.
'Superhero Movie' (PG-13)
Starring: Drake Bell, Sara Paxton
It was just a matter of time before the Hollywood spoofmeisters got their mitts on the glut of superhero films that fill the multiplexes. This one doesn't have much of a pedigree – novice director, borderline Z-grade cast – but it probably still has a laugh. Maybe two.
'Stop-Loss' (R)
Starring: Ryan Phillippe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Kimberly Pierce ("Boys Don't Cry") helms this intense drama of an Iraq war hero (Phillippe) who returns home to Texas safely, only to be called back to duty. One problem: He doesn't want to return. Patriotic feathers fly.
'Meet the Browns' (PG-13)
Starring: Tyler Perry, Angela Bassett
Tyler Perry does quadruple duty – writing, directing, and starring as a guy named Joe and as his fan-favorite character, Madea, the big-boned, big-hearted, sassy matron with wisdom to spare, in this story of a single mother who takes her family to the funeral of her father, whom she'd never met.
