WEDNESDAY, JULY 11 2007

Notre Dame Academy rising senior Mia Nickson, pictured here in a game during her junior season, has verbally committed to attend and play basketball for the Boston College Eagles, beginning in 2008. Nickson, a nationally rated recruit, selected Boston College over Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-1 forward started her high school career at Broad Run before transferring to Notre Dame in Middleburg prior to her sophomore season.
