ODSL making a big splash
By Carl Lukat
A Saturday visit to any of nearly two dozen community pools in Loudoun County provides a clear picture of how many kids and families are involved with the Old Dominion Swim League (ODSL).
The ODSL is a summer swim league comprised of 22 teams across Loudoun. The league is home to about 2,000 swimmers, along with numerous parent volunteers and coaches.
The six-week season started June 20 and culminates with the ODSL Championship Invitational Meet July 28 at Sterling Park. Meets are held on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings during the season.
