The 2019 Ornament from the White House Historical Association honors Dwight D. Eisenhower, thirty-fourth president of the United States.   The “whirlybird” saw its first official use during World War II in 1942.  One side of the ornament features the Presidential Seal representing his two terms in office.  The opposite side features his five-star rank, honoring his military service as a general in the United States Army.

White House Ornaments are wonderful for gift giving.  Proceeds from sales of the ornament support the ongoing community-based children’s programs operated by the Assistance League of Northern Virginia, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit.  To purchase, contact Cindy Burgess:   Cost per ornament is $22.
