The Borgen Project is a non-profit organization that aims to change the lives of millions by working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy. This organization believes that the United States should be doing more to address global poverty. With 16,000 children dying each day from hunger, any effort to combat poverty is significant to igniting a positive change.

During this information session, there will be discussion in regards to how the organization operates, how citizens can be involved in this national campaign, and what goals at the political level have been successful.
