Fairfax Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is looking for volunteers. We provide volunteer advocates to abused and neglected children referred by the Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. You do not need to have a specific professional background to apply--we provide all the training. The first step to becoming a CASA volunteer is to attend an information session. There's one coming up on Tuesday, July 28 at 1:00 PM. Due to concerns regarding the Coronavirus, and in an effort to do our part with social distancing, we will be offering this information session online. An RSVP is necessary in order to get the required information to log in to the meeting. Please RSVP by emailing volunteer@casafairfax.org. While we are currently recruiting people of all backgrounds, we have a particularly great need for people who speak Spanish (must also be able to speak and write in English) and men.
