EA/Take-Two: Hostile Takeover?

TUESDAY, MARCH 4 2008

I just found this website, created by EA, and directed to Take-Two's shareholders. Take-Two has stated that they will think about starting negotiations after GTA IV is release. EA says that won't have any reason to after Take-Two's biggest game comes out. Clever EA, very clever. Since Take-Two refused, EA says, fine, we'll go to your shareholders and let them know about all the money you are denying them.

 

EA has been known to buy up companies and close them down shortly after. So what good will it to EA to buy up a company if all the talent flees in fear of being fired?
