Last Sunday’s NoVa Mini Maker Faire in Reston showcased many of our region’s most inventive, creative and resourceful individuals. The event, which took place at South Lakes High School and Langston Hughes Middle School, served as a celebration of the Maker movement and gave participants an opportunity to show what they are making and share what they are learning.

Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow the community.
