Fairfax County Police are seeking information about the body of a man discovered Monday morning in Reston.

Officers responded to a call of a body discovered in the 1800 block of Jonathan Way shortly after 7 a.m., according to police. Police said the body was found on a high-rise construction site located at the Harrison Apartment complex — formerly known as Parc Reston — across Reston Parkway from Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

Police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell said the body has so far only been publicly identified by police as that of a construction worker, and police are still attempting to contact the man’s next of kin.

Police have not disclosed whether the man had been working on that job site, or given any alternate reason as to why he was there, Caldwell said.

“We do not feel this situation involved foul play, and do not believe there is any public safety threat,” she said.
