In Prince George’s County, An Evening of Praise & Worship is scheduled from 7-9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Sharon Bible Fellowship Church in Lanham. Organized by Bowie State University freshman Naomi McIlwain, the music, spoken word and dance event will benefit typhoon relief efforts in the Phillipines following Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated portions of Southeast Asia in early November 2013. In Fairfax, the annual Santa Clauster-f@%! Christmas Spectacular will celebrate its eleventh off-the-cuff holiday hootenanny.
