Fairfax County Police are seeking the identity of a man who robbed a woman with a shotgun at a Tysons Corner ATM on Sunday.

Police have released a video that shows a woman entering a glassed-in after-hours ATM lobby located within a building on the 8300 block of Greensboro Drive in Tysons Corner around 8:45 p.m.

A masked gunman wearing a hood and brandishing a shotgun is then shown entering the lobby less than a minute later, just after the woman receives money from the ATM.

Police said the 37-year-old woman reported that the man approached her with the shotgun, demanded the money and then fled with it and her purse. In the video, the woman is shown lowering herself to the floor as the gunman addresses her and then leaves with her purse.

Police said the gunman was last seen entering an older 4-door sport utility vehicle, similar to a Honda CRV, equipped with a roof rack and outside spare tire. Police said the SUV was dark in color and had an unknown Virginia license plates.

“The woman was trapped inside the lobby and could not escape her assailant,” said police spokeswoman Mary Ann Jennings. The video can be seen here:
