The Girl Scouts of Middletown, Jefferson and Myersville celebrated World Thinking Day on Friday night to honor sister Scouts living in other countries.

The theme of the program, held in the Middletown High School cafeteria, was “Together We Can Save Lives,” which focused on reducing child mortality rates around the world.

Donations of infant supplies were accepted at the door and donated to the Middletown Food Bank.

A silent auction also was held, with the donations going to the Girl Scout programs, training and camps.
