Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is gay.

That’s right. Love is gay. President Barack Obama should make it a goal this term to make sure that all those who want to get married can do so.

President Obama is the first United States President to openly support gay marriages. So why not make it legal?

Love is love. Whether you’re gay, straight, bisexual, transgender, we all fall in love at some point in our life. It’s a gift that God has given all of us, and it’s time we all get the chance to experience it.

Just because love is different doesn’t mean you should hate. Violence is not the path to love. Violence is the path to hate. But love overrides hate. Love is stronger and more powerful than hate ever will be. Marriage is a symbol of love. It is a symbol of power. Give this power to all of the people.

Hate is not necessary. If you don’t like two people different from you, keep it to yourself. Nobody wants to hear it. Nobody should have to see it. Nobody deserves that kind of hate.

A relationship involves two people. And only two. The last time I checked, it didn’t involve you. So stay out.

We are all God’s children, aren’t we? It’s not our place to judge others. That’s God’s job. It is our job to love. Love ourselves, love our neighbors and love God.

Perhaps you don’t believe in God. Maybe you just think homosexuality is unnatural. You do things that aren’t natural, don’t you? If you wear glasses, that’s not natural. In fact, those glasses are part of who you are. It’s not your choice that you have poor eyesight. But you don’t see anyone pointing out your glasses as an abomination because you are different.

You wouldn’t want someone coming along trying to ruin your own personal relationship(s). You wouldn’t appreciate it. So why do that to someone else?

Love is not an option. Love is not a right. Love is a way of life. Love makes the world a better place. It gives people hope. Love is what is right in this world. And President Obama knows that. Recognize this love.

Being gay is of no harm to society. If anything, it is giving you comfort that someone out there is happy because they are loved and can freely express their emotions. Even our president, one of the most influential and powerful people in the United States, supports it.

Marriage benefits should be available to all couples, regardless of how they sexually and romantically identify themselves. By not recognizing marriages of homosexual couples, you are making them suffer financially for no reason other than the fact that they are gay, which isn’t even any of your business to begin with.

President Obama, we want to see more love. So please act upon your promises of love. Give us the power of love. After all, love is the reason. Love is the answer. Love is the way. So let’s all love

We want to see change. A change that allows us all to experience something so beautiful and wonderful. A change that gives us hope. A change that will make a difference in the world.
