Hundreds of Fairfax Countyís youngest residents stopped by the 20th annual Fall For Fairfax KidsFest on Sept. 29-30 to enjoy some free entertainment.

The event, which took place at the Fairfax County Government Center, included scarecrow making, pumpkin painting and a petting zoo.

There also were pony rides, hay rides and more than 75 exhibits, including two that instructed youngsters on public safety and recycling.

The annual festival is specially designed for families with elementary and pre-K aged children.
