Westfield 35, Lake Braddock 24
Injuries and player personnel issues are taking their toll on a Lake Braddock team that barely got by Annandale at home last week. A strong opponent Friday should pump the Bruins up, but Westfield is just too good to let this one get away.
Chantilly 28, Langley 17
Chantilly will stick to its bread-and-butter in the running game against a Langley team that surrendered 446 rushing yards through the season’s first two games.
West Springfield 29, Lee 28
Lee tailback Michael Jolly, who has compiled 463 rushing yards through two games, will make life difficult for the Spartans. In the end, though, West Springfield’s Tyler Sutter and Jonathan Dunn will prove too much for the Lancers to handle.
