Restaurant week fast approaching
D.C. event has spread into suburbs
From Aug. 13-19, the Washington area’s summer restaurant week, many of the area's top restaurants offer a prix fixe three-course lunch for $20.12 and/or dinner for $35.12 (not including beverages and tips).
As the event has grown in popularity, so has the number of participating restaurants, which now have spread well into the suburbs. This summer more than 25 local establishments are offering the bargain meals.
Some have planned special menus for the occasion. Some let you choose from the regular menu. Some serve only lunch (L) or dinner (D), some both. But all suggest you make reservations for this popular event.
