The elegant eclectic brick dwelling is filled with luxury features both inside and out. With expansive windows extending across the front and rear of the main floor, the home provides impressive landscaped views, especially during the spring.
Beyond the pillared entrance portico, the two-story foyer is open to the living room, where the expansive front window faces a blooming tree. The living room is also open to the rear dining room, which has crown molding, wainscoting and a multipaned bay window overlooking the wooded rear lot and garden.
On the opposite side of the entrance hall, a multipaned glass door leads to the office, which includes a fulllength front window beneath crown molding. Hardwood floors continue through most of this level, and the entrance hall and dining room chandeliers convey. The window treatments also convey, including the floral valances in the living and dining rooms, reflecting the surrounding scenery.
The dining room and entrance hall both lead to the updated kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and granite counters, including the breakfast bar that divides the kitchen from the breakfast nook. Four rear windows stand above the sink, while the breakfast area displays a multipaned bay window overlooking the Trex deck and the landscape beyond.
The kitchen faces the family room, where wainscoted walls and a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace stand between hardwood floors and crown molding. This room also includes an entrance to the deck.
Both the entrance hall and the office adjoin a full bath, across the hall from the stairway. At the top of the stairs, the landing overlooks the foyer. It also leads to the master bedroom, which occupies about a third of the second floor, including two walk-in closets. The bedroom adjoins a luxury bath with a jetted tub, a glass-enclosed shower and dual sinks. The other three bedrooms share a hallway bath. Both baths were remodeled four years ago.
An additional renovated bath appears in the lower level, which also includes a large tiled recreation room, a storage area and exit to the rear lot.
The two-car garage adjoins the laundry room and the kitchen beyond. A Giant supermarket and pharmacy is located in Centrewood Plaza, 3.6 miles away. The public schools are Virginia Run Elementary, Stone Middle and Westfield High.
The house is part of the Pleasant Hill community, which includes a clubhouse, walking path, tennis courts, tot lot and playground, and outdoor pool.
