A Suitland woman found dead inside a Temple Hills apartment Wednesday has been identified by Prince Georgeís County police as 30-year-old Latoya Debina Hall of the 2400 block of Fort Drive.
Hall was found dead in the 4000 block of 28th Avenue around 2:40 p.m., and police have since determined her death was a homicide.
Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a county police spokesman, said fire and rescue crews initially responded to a call for an unresponsive woman and called county police after discovering the body.
Rodriguez did not know the condition of the woman's body when emergency crews and police found it Wednesday afternoon.
Cpl. Larry Johnson, a county police spokesman, did not know Thursday who made the emergency call.
He said detectives ruled the death a homicide after preliminary signs in the investigation, though he did not know if there was any trauma to her body. He said no weapons were found on scene and there are no identified suspects.
A phone number for Hallís family could not be located.
There have now been 22 homicides in Prince Georgeís County since the beginning of 2012, Johnson said.
