Classic Homes and Ngoc Do & Associates have joined in building the new Oxcrest community at Fairfax Station. It is planned for six eclectic and colonial brick luxury houses on lots of five acres or more. Prices start at $998,900 for the Monticello model, which is one of the two units that are still available.

Listed at over $1 million, a decorated Hampton model is on display. It shows many of the fine features and luxury options that also distinguishes the Monticello. They include two optional sunrooms overlooking the large rear lot, taking full advantage of the spring scenery.

In both models, the entrance hall is located between the living and dining rooms, in the classic colonial style. The area displays the expansive multipaned windows that continue throughout the house, helping to fill it with sunshine.

Adjoining the living room, an optional sunroom features coffered ceilings above a dramatic checkerboard tile floor, in contrast to the hardwood floors that appear throughout most of this level. The dining room features a multipaned, arched Palladian window and can also include optional tray ceilings.

The entrance hall faces the two-story family room with its fireplace, framed by a wall of multipaned windows overlooking the large landscaped lot. The family room is open to the kitchen, which features upscale granite counters and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen also adjoins an optional sunroom area overlooking the rear lot. The family room also leads to the powder room, located near the front stairway.

At the top of the stairs, the master suite features tray ceilings and a sitting area with an optional fireplace. The adjoining luxury bath provides a separate tub and shower. Three other bedrooms share a hallway bath, while one can include an optional private bath. An additional full bath appears in the unfinished lower level, which exits to the rear lot.

The front-loading, two-car garage leads past the pantry and laundry room to the kitchen and its convenient counters. The local public schools are Sangster Elementary and Lake Braddock Middle and High. Two and a half miles from the house, a Giant supermarket and pharmacy is located in the Shoppes of Lorton Valley.
